Author: JanetWaltersEubanks Surnames: Miller, Barrett, Dewey Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.schuylkill/12299/mb.ashx Message Board Post: In the 1920 Census for Frackville, Schuylkill Co., PA, there was a woman named Margaret Dewey, born about 1893 in PA, who was the wife of a John Dewey. Margaret's relationship to the head of the household, John H. Miller, was listed as "sister." Her husband John Dewey, born about 1891, was listed as John H. Miller's "brother-in-law." However, I do not think that Margaret Dewey was the sister of John H. Miller because their mother would have been 55 when she was born. I think that is it possible that Margaret was the sister to John H. Miller's wife Ellen Barrett Miller. Does anyone out there know anything about this family. I can't seem to find an Ellen Barrett and Margaret Barrett in the same family that matches the 1893 birthdate of Margaret Dewey. Does anyone know a Barrett family with an Ellen born about 1896 who had a sister named Margaret Barrett born about 1893? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
