I am aware of Miol Parr. I have seen him in records (ie 1810 census, Mecklenburg Co, NC) and seen various inquiries. I saw an abstract of his will fairly recently. There was also another Parr in Mecklenburg Co, NC in the 1790-1800 period who never transacts any business with the others, who are interacting constantly. His name started with a J. as I recall maybe Jacob. Having no link, I just ignored him in my history. In the past, when I have speculated about possible relationships in my histories, even by obscure reference, I have later seen those speculations given as fact, often with me cited as the source, so I am very careful. That happened with William Parr who married the Bethel in Sussex Co, VA. I speculated that they could be the parents of Thomas because a Thomas and Mary Parr had a daughter Lotta, christened in 1752 in the parish they attended. Now I have seen web sites that quote my speculation as fact and put it in a pedigree. One of them quotes some references from an EMail I received, carefully leaving out those portions which clearly identify it as speculation. It could be right, but I have no concrete proof, and neither do they. Having said that, I can't imagine that Miol is not related in some way, and I suspect not too distantly removed.
