    2. Hi Gary, Once you've had the opportunity to verify if your Thomas Parr was ever from Ontario or not, please, let me know. Am looking for a Thomas Parr who was born in Ireland and immigrated to Ontario sometime in the 1800s. Apparently, that Thomas Parr settled for a time in Prince Edward County. If your Thomas turns out to be THE Thomas I'm looking for . . . and he just might be, that might explain why my great grandfather Joseph Parr (born Enniskillen, Ontario 14 Jun 1843) moved to Michigan 1877. I've not discovered what drew my greats to moving to Michigan from Hibbert Township, Ontario. My great grandparents returned to Canada shortly after Michigan's Great Fire of 1881. They settled in Wolseley, Saskatchewan, where they now rest in peace. 3. Trish I am really interested that your Thomas Parr settled in Prince Edward County for a time. Any information you have about him and that county I would be really interested in. My Parrs had a presence in PEC by the 1860s and I think possibly earlier. I have records of a Joseph, Harriet and Daniel Parr from the 1830s on, but so far I have not found any thing on a Thomas Parr. I have yet to establish whether I am related to Joseph, Harriet and Daniel.
