I believe the Zebulon Parr who was born about 1805 was probably born in Lincoln County, North Carolina. The Lincoln County, N.C., deed books show that his father, John Parr Sr., sold his land in North Carolina in 1808. The obituary of Zebulon Parr's older brother, John Parr Jr., also stated that the family moved to Tennessee in 1808. It seems that the family may have gone to Maury County before settling in Lincoln County, Tennessee.
