Hi, I hope you find this!! I, too, am looking for ancestry in this area. My great-great grandfather, Samuel Parr, came from Knox Co. Ind. Born Dec. 15, 1828. Married Molinda Skaggs, Sumner, Ill. Samuel Parr's mothers name was Catherine Parr of Knox Co. Ind. That's as much background info as we know. I can go forward with Samuel and Molinda's children, etc. Looking for Samuel's mother, Catherine Parr, and his father. I live close to the area these people came from.
