I am searching for information on Joseph E. and Daniel Parr. The information I have shows Joseph came from Germany, (the only one in his family who came to the U.S.)and lived for a short time in North Carolina. He came to Lena, Indiana, and was one of the first settlers in Van Buren Township, Clay Co. His son was Daniel (born in North Carolina) who married Catherine Roberts December 9, 1852 and died in 1872. That is all I have been able to find out so far, we do not know where they are buried and cannot get records since they burnt in a fire at the Clay County Courthouse. If any one has any information it would be appreciated, would be glad to share what I have. Thank you!
