    3. Gloria, John Parr Sr. of Essex County, Va., did have one brother, William Parr Jr. (William Parr Jr. was survived by only one daughter, Jane). Their father, William Parr Sr. first bought land in Essex County in 1753, and by 1770 the family had moved to the border area between Pittsvylvania Co., Va., and Caswell Co., N.C. During the time they were in Essex County, there were no other Parrs appearing in any county records. I will try to find what I copied out from the Essex County deed index. I do remember noticing that there were some Parrs at a later date.
