I just saw a Discover Channel thing about the Thomas Parr who (according to them) lived to age 152 (I have heard the same story before; but, in that one he lived only to 120.). The two stories both said that he was invited to see the king (can't remember which one right now) and ate rich food and died. He was a farmer. I took down the details, as best I could figure them out from the report. Just wonder if anyone has him in their tree, if they go back that far. I don't know if he is in mine, as yet. I'd like to know what proof they use for that story. His plaque is hung in Westminster Abbey, where he is buried, and lists all the Monarchs he lived through.
