Elayne--yes, that is the same Parr. I am sending you the info I just sent another Parr searcher. We have also talked before about your Richard Parr connecting to my Marcus Parr and William Parrs. Linda ******* Subj: Re: Marcus parr Date: 09/29/01 2:48:33 Eastern Daylight Time From: LindaHeltonPerry To: CDeeC Diane--I believe we have "talked" before about the Parrs--I recognize your screen name. My Marcus W. Parr married Hannah Kesler in Aug. 24, 1832 in Franklin Co., Ga. This is listed under the spelling of PAIR on the Franklin Co. web page, and is in error. I have Marcus as being born around 1807 to 1810 -- not sure if VA. or Franklin Co., Ga. I'm estimating he died before 1870, but can't find ANYTHING on when or where he is buried. His wife, Hannah Kesler, was born Sept. 6, 1806 in Newberry, SC and died Feb. 17, 1880 in Franklin Co., Ga. Marcus W. Parr was the son of WILLIAM PARR and HANNAH ? This William is one of a long line of William's I have back to Va. c 1681. Don't know if your Marcus N. is the same and I also don't yet know what the W. stands for unless it too is Marcus WILLIAM Parr. It probably is, thoughl--they Loved that name!! Would love to find out better dates and where he is buried.
