    3. My Parr line came to Georgia from New Jersey. The first Parr in Georgia was Benjamin Parr from Morristown NJ. It appears his grandparent was a John Parr and father was a Mathias Parr. Benjamin fought in the Revolutionary War in NJ and with his two brothers, John and Mathias moved to Wilkes Co. NC. Here they separated with his two brothers moving on to TN and later into the mid west. Benjamin settled in what was then Franklin Co. GA which later became Clarke Co. GA. Many of this descendants still live in the Clarke Co. area. While in Wilkes Co her married a Patsy McKinney. If you can give me a time frame I might be able to help you more. 3. Larena Edna Parr Worrell Morphew was my great grandmother, she went by Rena. Born feb 1 1889 in Phila. died March 1966 in Phila. She married Harry Henry Worrell in 1907 in Phila. They had 4 kids and he must have died before 1925 because she had remarried and had a son that year...Thomas Morphew, she also had a daughter Theresa but I don't know if she was older or younger than Thomas. Larena's parents were Charles Parr and Emma Vanarsdale, he died in 1951. and Charles parents were William Parr and Sarah Reid, they had Larena, Charles and Hattie, Hattie Parr married an Oliver...don't have to much more then that.... Larena was my mother's mother's mother or maternal side I guess would have been easier...Debby larry parr wrote: > My Parr line came to Georgia from New Jersey.
