Parr, Robert Parr, Susannah C. Parr, orphans of Miel Parr, dec'd. (I don't have a complete citation right now, but I found this in published articles or notes by Flournoy Rivers, p. 93) I also have a photocopy of the following -- Giles Co., Tenn., Deed Book L, p. 48. Registered 22 Dec 1834. "State of Louisiania (sic) Parish of Claiborne Personally came and appeared before me the undersigned Judge & Ex officio Notary Public in and for the parish of Claiborne, William E Kersey, husband of Susan Pair of the state and Parish aforesaid who declared that he had constituted and empowered and by these presense does now constitute and empower Henry Pair of the State and Parish aforesaid his true and lawfull attorney in fact for the following purposes (to wit) to transact generally all business whatsoever in relation to his said wife's share of a certain legacy in the hands of Paul Chile the guardian in the state of Tennessee Giles County. And the said William E Kersey does hereby empower the said Henry Pair as aforesaid specially to draw and receipt for all of the said estate which may be coming to the said Susan Pair the wife of William Kersey and finally to do all and every thing in relation to said estate which he the said Kersey & wife could do were they themselves in person present the said Kersey hereby ratyfying every thing which the said Henry Pair may do in relation to said powers ... 23 November 1834.
