I am searching for information about James Parr, my great grandfather. He may be of Irish origins, he was probably born in the early 1840s, and he possibly resided in New York State. On 24 December 1868 he married Louisa Fritz in Hillier Township, Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. James had one daughter, Eleanor, and three sons: Henry Amos (my grandfather who lived most of his life in Invermay, Saskatchewan, Canada), Edward (who was living in Fredonia, NY in the 1950s) and William.
