My name is Richard James Parr I was born in Canada My fathers name was Frederick Cyril Parr born in Bornemouth England. His father was Francis Parr born in England and lived in Bournemouth Area. He was a butcher by trade.my Grandfather was married to Annie Ives also from England. I don't know too much else about them as they both died before I was born.

My 11 X G Granddad was Richard Parr who has a family connection although I haven't worked out how yet to Catherine sixth and last wife of henry VIII, the info came to me via someone doing a Birch one name study and it was a Birch who married Richard's daughter Mary and this person has seen documents where Richard uses the same familly crest as Catherine's, that's how we know but as I say I haven't worked out how yet so if anyone knows anything please get in touch!!
