James married Nancy Huffman on 25 Jun 1829 in Culpeper Co., and they had 5 known children: James, Weedon Asbury, Andrew Jackson, Sally A, and Walter Scott. Their son Andrew Jackson Parr m. Julia Anna Moore on 26 Feb 1856 in Fauquier Co., and Andrew's brother James William Parr married Adalade C. (Addie) Moore (Julia Anna Moore's sister) in 1854 in Fauquier Co. The Moore sisters were daughters of George Moore and Ann Singleton who were married 26 Feb 1829 in Culpeper Co. For his second marriage to Frances Gaskins on 24 Jun 1869 in Fauquier Co., George listed himself as age 67 and born in Rappahannock Co. I haven't been able to find anything on George's first wife Ann Singleton, and I have nothing for the first William Parr, s/o James Parr and Hannah Wayman. His sister Elizabeth married Joseph Hickerson in 1806 in Fauquier Co. Maybe there's a clue here for your Parr - Moore connection. If so, I hope you'll let me know.
