Hello Barbara, sorry for the delay in replying. I recognise some of the names you mentioned, but they are not any of mine, unfortunately. In particular I remember Midge (Midget), and Royal as these names belong to Mr Tapper in Canada, he passed them on to me. I presume that you have already been in touch with him, if not let me know, and I will pass on his address. Regards, Malcolm Parr "B. A Hebrew teacher stood in front of his class and said, "The Jewish people have observed their 5,759th year as a people. Consider that the Chinese, for example, have only observed their 4,692nd year as a people. Now what does it mean to you?" After a moment of silence, a chubby student raised his hand. "Yes, David," the teacher said, "what does it mean?" "Well," David replied, "it means that the Jews had to go without Chinese food for 1,067 years."

Thanks for answering, but I have no Parrs so far in those areas.
Just received notice that some PARR photos have been added to www.ancientfaces.com website. They are: 1. "Soloman Parr son of Samuel Galveston, TX See wife Diana Campbell, in Campbell surnames" 2. "William Parr son of Soloman & Diana Campbell Parr of Galv.TX Diana was daughter Of James Campbell who was one of priviteer Jean Lafitte's captains." 3. "Lelia Nelson Parr Harper's boarding house on Noftsger Hill, Globe, AZ Not sure of date . probably after 1911." Hope someone can claim them. Hi Paul, There are many similarities between your Parr's and mine. My Thomas Parr was born in Ireland about 1817. He immigrated to Canada before 1850 and I have found him in the 1851 Brighton, Northumberland Ontario census, living with his wife Mary Gillett and her parents. By 1856 my Thomas and his wife and son Willis had moved to Washtenaw Co., Michigan. The interesting thing here is that when Thomas' son Willis grew up, he maintained a farm in Durand Michigan, but purchased a lumber mill in Washington State. In the WA cemetery where Willis Parr's children are buried is also an Isaiah Parr, I believe. I would very much like for you to contact me. I have a webpage at the "Proud to be Parr" website, look under "Thomas Parr and Mary Gillett". You may write to me at the website or at Dmalafront@aol.com Thank You, Deborah Malafronte
