    3. Hi Phyllis- All of my information came from Genealogy.com message board sand Ancestry.com World Family trees and the such. Unfortunately for me, some of the information has could be and probably is wrong. I got the name of Sarah Miller from one of those trees, with her father being Simon Miller (born in the 1600s). Sarah was Thomas Parr's wife, yes? Look this over and give me your thoughts. Also, please let me know the ties with the Keaton name. Thanks- Alisha --- PLewis1806@aol.com wrote: > Alisha: I am the grgrgrgr granddaughter of John > Edmund Parr, brother of Hannah Elizabeth Parr. > Iam interested in the maiden name of our > grgrgrgrgrgrandmothers maiden name. > How did you arrive at the name of Miller? 3. I read about that child in a biography of Henry VIII and his wives. The author said that Catherine did have a child by Thomas but that the child probably died; there was no record of her living or dying. But even if she did live, the descendants would have been under a different name and probably not my line unless an offspring married another Parr. 2. AM
    3. Hello! This is Alisha. My g-g-g-g Grandmother was Hannah Elizabeth Parr, wife of John Peter Corn and dsughter of John or Jonathan Corn and Miriam (Miller?). I am trying to trace this branch of my family back. And yes, I have heard to that Hannah could trace her roots back to Catherine Parr (Henry VIII), to one of her siblings since Catherine married a Seymore and never had any surviving kids (let me know if I am wrong). I found some information this morning that Miriam, Hannah's mom, had a maiden name of Miller. Any info is helpful! And if you have a link to the Corn family, the family Hannah married into, I have traced this branch all over the place and back before 1000 A.D. Thanks- Alisha __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make a great connection at Yahoo! Personals. http://personals.yahoo.com

    2. Hi Phyllis, I lost track of Lucretia Greenwood after her 3rd marriage 26 Apr 1853 in Meade County to John H. Wathen. The children I have listed for her are William Parr, b. abt 1837, and Martha Parr, b. abt 1839 KY. Then from her 2nd marriage on 5 Oct 1841 in Meade County to John Henry Greenwell, I have 4 children: 1- Mary C. Greenwell, b. abt 1842 2- Isabel Frances Greenwell, b. 1844, m. 15 Jun 1861 to Francis "Frank" Wathen. 3- Phoebe Ann Greenwell, b. 1846 4- Floyd Greenwell, b. 1848. I wonder how these Wathen & Greenwell families are related - or if they are. Kathryn

    1. [PARR] John Parr b Crawford IN 1825/26
    2. Thank you for that information! I keep running into the name Bloom Parr and have felt that there must be a connection and here he is again and in Crawford Co. Obviously not brothers, maybe cousins? I have from two different sources that John Parr's birthdate was July 4...his grandaughter had written the birth year as 1826 and according to Atchison Co MO 1900 census it is July of 1825 so he is of the same generation as Winifred Parr and her siblings. Do you know of their father's brother's or other Parr's with a Crawford Co tie? I know that I'm so close but just can't find that little bit to connect my gg grandfather to his family. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    2. Brian Johnson
    3. Dear listers, I am trying to trace my wifes cousins family tree, her grandfather John PARR born circa 1876 (havent found his birth year or place yet) but father was William , at the time of his marriage to Rose SMART nee DABOURN in 1904 was living in Camberley Surrey England , came to Melbourne Australia circa 1914 on a ship called "The Irishman" and at roughly the same time he had a brother called either Thomas or William PARR who went to Canada with his family . Does any one have any knowledge of any PARR emigrating to Canada around 1914 ?? If so any info would be greatly appreciated . Kind regards from Australind , West Australia , Brian Johnson (Johno) bjohnson3@vtown.com.au
