Anything is possible. Both HUGH and PARKS are probably very old Scottish names, and may have been used by millions. Whether my line is related to yours, I don't know. If your line is in New Brunswick, which is on the Eastern Coast of Canada, I would imagine they came there via ship at sometime in history. It appears my Parks line was in NC prior to the Revolutionary War, and may have been in VA prior, Ireland prior, and ultimately we should find some Scottish roots, if I get that far back. It appears there is a very large distance geographically between our families, but they may have originated in Ireland or Scotland together in history.
