    1. [PARKS] Googling for Parks

    3. Lots of fun -- RV parks, National Parks, etc. But, some hints -- may be familiar to many of you. And, I usually just use the basic Google front page. It is possible to use their advanced search as well. I'm just lazy. First, put quote marks around the name "Aaron Parks" and that will force the search engine to group that name. Adding the town and or the state will lower the hit count. For states like New York where there are two words, I put them in quotes as well. If you have a name where there are sports involved and you want to weed those returns out, use something like -basketball [note that there is no space]. If you want to be sure the engine uses your term then +pensioner Google will let you put in a lot of words, but will only search on the first 10. If you believe that what you want might be in pdf format you can add that to the search line, for example "Aaron Parks" -basketball +pensioner "New York" pdf Then, to pick up as many Aaron Parks as possible, run the search again and change to Park, Parke, Parkes, Peirks, Parkhurst and any of the other local variants. Happy Googling!
