My "Parks" brickwall is Hulda Parks (b. 1813), married to Benjamin Gee (b. 1807), both of Delaware County NY. Her children were Emily Parks Gee (b. 1831), Charity Gee (b. 1834), Clarissa Gee (b. 1836), Priscilla Gee (b. 1839), Lucretia Gee (b. 1840), Benjamin Franklin Gee (b. 1844), Hulda Jane Gee (b. 1846), Rachel Gee (b. 1849), Mary Ann/Martha E. (?)(b. 1852) and Joseph Harvey Gee (b. 1855). There is much documentation showing that Hulda Parks maiden name was Hulda Hawley, not Parks. There is equal documentation showing Parks as Hulda's maiden name. The fact that "Parks" is the middle name of Hulda's first born child indicates it came from somewhere! But where? I am in contact with descendants of all of the Gee children except Benjamin Franklin Gee and Mary Ann/Martha E. (?) Gee, but none of us have been able to explain the "Parks" connection.
