King Cyrus Alexander PARK was born in 1800 in TN, died in 1880 in DeWitt County, TX, at age 80, and was buried in Hebron Cem, Yoakum, DeWitt County, TX. King married Mahala Watz TUMLINSON, daughter of James TUMLINSON and Elizabeth JOHNSON, about 1824 in Scott County, AR. Mahala was born in 1803 in NC, died in 1880 in DeWitt County, TX, at age 77 and was buried in Hebron Cem, Yoakum, DeWitt County, TX. Mahala Tumlinson was the daughter of Joseph Tumlinson and Elizabeth Johnson. They were married in Lincoln County, NC in 1797. Joseph died before the 1830 Census & it is not clear what became of Elizabeth. Mahala had two known brother's, James and Joseph Johnson Tumlinson. James died in the 1830's & Joseph J. lived out his life in Arkansas. Joseph Tumlinson, married 4 Oct. 1797 Lincoln County, NC, Elizabeth Johnson. Their daughter, Mahala Tumlinson, born about 1808 in NC moved to Tenn. with her parents when a young child, they were living in Arkansas by 1820 where Joseph died before 1830. Mahala Tumlinson married about 1822 King Cyrus Alexander park. They can be found on Crawford County, Arkansas Census in 1830 & on Scott County, Arkansas Census in 1840. They were listed on the Cherokee County, TX Census in 1850 & 1860. They moved to DeWitt County, TX & on the Census there in 1870. They both died in DeWitt County, TX.
