We have a JOHHNY COURTNEY PARKS but from a little later. He was born December 7, 1903 to MARION PARKS(1877) & MARY LIZ DUNN. They lived in Breathitt County Kentucky. Marion's father was LAFAYETTE PARKS born 1850 in Virginia Lafayette's father was JAMES SHELTON PARKS(1810 Greenup Co Kentucky) & his mother was SUSANNAH FRASHER. James father was ROBERT PARKS who came her from England with 2 of his brothers(it is said anyway). Robert was married to POLLY HARDWICK. Since families named their children after relatives maybe there is a connection somewhere.
