This family may not be the same, but it is a possibility. Joseph Parke/Park s/o of Arthur and Mary Parke did leave his home in Fallowfield, Chester Co Penn before the Rev. to settle with a group of Presybtarian in the Carolinas. The family was there through the war, one of the sons became quite prominent in the Rev. War. Joseph seems to have lost must of his property because of the Revolution. He does go back up to Penn for a while. Sells his 1/2 of Arthur's estate and returns to the Carolina. My line is of Joseph's brother John and his wife Elizabeth McKnight so I haven't researched the Carilina line.
