    3. I am still searching for the loose block in the proverbial brick wall. Hope someone has a connection! My gr-grandfather was William W. Parks, born about 6-4-1820 in Georgia. He married Margaret A. Maddox (sp?). She was born 1-18-1825 also in Georgia. They had 6 children (all in Jasper County, GA): Lycurgus Osgood, 10-24-1847 - 8-2-1931 Sarah Elizabeth, 12-2-1848 - 11-8-1914 John Courtney, 2-7-1851 - 5-30-1915 Margaret Ophelia, 1-21-1853 - 10-17-1934 Samuel Clark, 1-19-1854 - 10-31-1935 Hasseltine C., about 1860 - after 1900 They were in Jasper County in 1850 and 1860 Census. Moved to Union County, AR about 1867. William was a Mason (Ashler Lodge, Jasper County and Mt. Moriah Lodge, Union County). He died 10-17-1884 (had a Masonic funeral) and she died 10-2-1902. WW, MA and 4 of their children are buried in Salem Cemetery between Smackover and Lisbon. The cemetery is fairly close to land that they settled and farmed. Jim Parks Little Rock, AR
