I have come across some information which I believe to pertain to my PARK (PARKS?) line of Sullivan County, Indiana: Joshua PARK b. Indiana (1816-1862) m. Rachel WALLS b. Kentucky Children: Nancy Agnes PARK (1847-1919) m. John J. PARKER Richard PARK (1861-1942) - served as something akin to superintendent of schools in Sullivan County / Merom. Married an (unknown) ROGERS (1865-1953) Other children of Joshua and Rachel PARK who died prior to adulthood: John D. d 1846 @ 10 yrs Rachel E. d. 1846 @ 7 mo Joshua L. d. 1850 @ 1 yr Infant Son b&d. 1851 Other surviving children were likely born between 1836 and 1861. Rachel was in her mid 40s when widowed, and the mother of young children. She may have remarried. She appears not to be buried with the rest of the family in Sullivan County. Joshua PARK appears to have had a brother: Jacob PARK m. Cynthia J.
