In response to Samuel Parks and Susannah Taylor posted by Tom Hartman, I found an interesting genealogy about this family in HISTORY OF CHEROKEE INDIANS-OLD FAMILIES AND THIER GENEALOGY written by Emmet Starr who was a Cherokee himself. It was written in 1923 as I recall. Susannah Taylor was a Cherokee and the Taylor genealogy is in the book. I assume Samuel married into the Cherokee and may not have been of Cherokee blood. I didn't find his family genealogy, except for his children named by Tom in his query. Wanda
