Your mention of connecticut regarding parks got my interest. I've tried unsuccessfully to write to the list before about my Frederick Parks who was born in Connecticut in 1801. He moved to New York (Putnam county) where he appears in the 1840 census. He and his family then moved to Iowa where they lived their lives out. I am trying to find out more of this family and I wonder if you might know something of it? Thnak you.
