This list has been very quiet for the past couple of weeks. Because of this I feel I must respond to the recent comments being made on this list. I do not want or intend to offend anyone . I think everyone will agree that our main purpose is to discover our roots. It does, at times get frustrating because we don't have access to all of the records we would like. Sometimes we have to do a little reading between the lines that are often very vague at best. That is why a professional will require three proofs as documentation. That way your source is as thoroughly researched as possible. We are all FAMILY in one form or another and because of this we need to keep focused on the job we are here to do. I hope in the process to develop many close relationships with the people I come in contact with. I know there are many of you that have a lot to teach me because you have been doing this much longer than I have. Please take criticism in the way it was meant...to inform, guide and teach...in time we will all grow from this experience...hopefully like fine wine...aged with character.
