I am looking for a Coleman family married into a Parks family in Wayne Twnsp., Jefferson Cty.,Ohio. 1797. Catharine Coleman and Laban Parks were married about 1797, while crossing the Ohio River. He born about 1772-died 1812 she 1776/1846. They had 7 children-James, Robert, Elizabeth (Ford), Mary, William, Mrs. Amelia (More), and Mrs. Sarah (Tipton). James mar. Mary (Leech) (Copeland). If anyone has a possibly connection I can use some help on this. I don't have any idea where Catharine and Robert came from. There is a strong Wayne Cty. connection during the 1800's......Joyce
