Parks b. 27 Oct 1800, both in TN (I think) I do have siblings and spouses for both. If I didn't miss someone, these were the only PARK/PARKER/PARKES/PARKS I could find in White Co. in 1860. Do you have an approx. dob for your James? Would he have been old/young enough to have fought in the Civil War? Do you have dob for your grandfather William Lee, and do you know for sure if he was born in White County? Do you have a death certificate for William Lee? If he died in the late 1900's on, his parents' names and place of birth might be on his death ceritficate. Looks like from the family names the John Parks household in 1860 White Co. TN might be your bunch, but if you've already ruled them out, we might look at a James Parks in early 1800's Roane Co. TN whose father was named William Parks. Don't mean to pepper you with questions, just thought there might be a Roane Co. connection or you may have overlooked this White Co. Parks family.
