I descend from John and Elizabeth Parks, both born in NC(census). The family moved from Buncombe Co, NC to Gilmer Co, GA in 1845, where they died and are buried. We have record of land sales/purchases by John in Buncombe Co, but no other records from NC. Lots of info available once they arrive in Gilmer Co.
