I am particularly interested in learning more about the ancestry of Robert Parks and corresponding with any other Jefferson County Parks. My line is summarized as follows: Robert Parks, b 1800 Jefferson Co. Ohio, d 1883 married Mary Hedges (b 1805, d 1883) in 1829. Robert and Mary had 9 children. They lived in Wayne Township, Jefferson Co. Ohio John, b 1832 Catharine, b 1833 David, b 1834 William, b 1835 Laban, b 1837 Amelia, b 1839 Sarah, b 1840 Mary, b 1842 Susan, b 1844 John Parks married Eliza Margaret Scott (b 1834) in 1865. They had 4 children and lived in Wayne Township, Jefferson Co. Ohio. William S., b 1866 Robert G., b 1868 Elizabeth J., b 1871 Charles S., b 1874 Can anyone help me understand anything about Robert's parents? I believe Robert had an older brother, James, born about 1798. James married Mary Copeland in 1821 and had 4 children. I think they, too, lived in Wayne Township, Jefferson Co. Ohio.
