Dale, I am also a descendant of Silas Leonard Parks whose brother was Peter Glick Parks. Sandra Tennyson is a descendant of Peter's also. Her e-mail is [email protected] . I have the father of Silas and Peter as John Parks a green mountain boy in the American Revolution. I need to check with Karen Ingram about the James and Mary parentage. Its new to me. Parks, born 28 Dec 1807. His son, Oscar Oren Parks born 8 Aug 1840. His son, Charles Oren Parks, born 29 Nov 1887 in Lamar, Missouri. My grandfather. I believe Charles had brother name of Wayne born 27 Oct 1896 in Lamar, Missouri, and moved later on to somewhere in Texas. This is as far back as I have been able to trace so far, as I am oldest living descendant (far as I can determine). Ring any bells?? Have more names if would help.
