PARKS Information I have on him is VERY sparse: Born August 29,1869 at Harrison Iowa (I can't find any evidence that this was in Harrison County Iowa....so what else?) Died: 1923 at Belfield, North Dakota... the State of ND doesn't have a death record for him??? Married: Hattie (Harriet?) Louella Duncanson (sometime near 1900 because first child was born that year) born: July 30,1875 at Coffeville,KS died: March 13,1929 in Des Moines,IA (Hattie Lynch) They divorced (I know not when) Children: Harley Otis Parks March 14,1900 Arnold Earnest Parks Oct.30,1901 Florence May Parks Aug.17,1903 Appleton,MN. (my grandmother) Flossie E. Parks April 10,1905 Belfield,ND? That is where she died at 18 mos. old James Bradford Parks Oct. 10,1907 Information on these were sparse because of the divorce and Hattie developed cancer. The children were placed in orphanages. All of them stayed in minimal touch. All of the children are gone now....we don't know about James Bradford because he lost touch totally...was a doctor in Iowa. Their early movements seem to follow that of other PARKS families at that time... Iowa to Minnesota to North Dakota.... rumor 1...John Parks mother was Castilian rumor 2.. John Parks moved back to Iowa, remarried and had a car dealership there rumor 3.. John Parks died in NY...killed because he was cheating at a card game..
