    3. Barbara - I am hoping that you might be a link for me. I am working on William W. Parks (6-4-1820 - 10-17-1884). (This is the same William W. that Ron Gurtler posted in roll call). He was in Jasper County, GA before 1848 and married Margaret A. Maddox. From totally unverified info from Dennis Parks (seemingly lost from list and cyberworld), his father was Samuel Clark Parks and his mother was Elizabeth Belcher. Since that was then and not now, I am not certain this is correct, because he supplied a marriage date of 1-21-182, over 7 months after his birth. Many of the names fit, but I can't be sure. Any hits?
