Hi Dillis, I can verify that the name Herman Parks should read Hiram Parks. I have copies of census records and wills from Caswell Co., NC. One of the sons of Col. Robert Parks was the father of my Hiram Gartrell Parks, born ca. 1805 TN. Perhaps Labon Parks, who was dec'd before his father died abt. 1815?
