Parks, Rufus State:New YorkYear:1850 County:RensselaerRoll: M432_585 Township:BrunswickPage: 66 Image:315 I see that her father had probably recently remarried and had an infant by his new wife and that only the father, wife and child are in the family: Lewis, Calib State:New YorkYear:1850 County:RensselaerRoll: M432_586 Township:PetersburghPage: 185 Image:163 Just looking quickly, I do NOT see your ancestor Palmyra Lewis in Rensselaer County. Nor does she show up on an entire US Census search for her -- so, either she was missed, was using a different name, or was residing with another Lewis family at the time of the 1850 Census. I think that the key to finding the Parks who is the father, is finding Palmyra. There is an Elisha Bartlett, a widower, enumerated in 1850 - could this be him?
