I've heard that story too down thru the family lines so it must be true!I just wish I knew more about Nancy & Sarah.My ggrandmother was Malindah Susan Parks Jones so she was your ggrandfather's sister.William Allen Jones was her husband & my grandfather was John Sterling Jones,one of their kids.He was my dad's daddy. Would you share with us what your grandmother told you about Nancy and Sarah Lewis Parks? From the dates of birth, it looks like Nancy passed away before 1850. My Cansada was born on Jan 14 1844. Thomas was born September 1843. This came from one of his descendants in a letter. I do not know what his source was. Cansada's date is on her headstone. Wonder if those marriage certificates still exsist? Would they be in Searcy Ark or Hickman Co. Tn?
