Seeking information on John Park, known as "Jack" to some. b. April 25, 1888 near Annalong, Ireland. d. April 6, 1970, Ocean Springs, MS USA Mother's name was Gertrude. His family lived on a dairy farm. The only thing I know about how he got to the U.S. is a story of when he was 9 years old, he took the milk to the market one day, sold it and parked the cart, and got on a boat bound for NY. He had a brother (name unknown) who lived in New York, whom he visited sometime in the 1940's. He was married twice, children from his first marriage were named Louis (Lewis?), Florence, and Dorothy. Children from his second marriage to Essie Jane Coleman were named Willie, James, Ione, Marilyn, and Donald. He retired after working in the U.S. Merchant Marine I apologize for crossposting to all the "Park" lists, but I really don't know for sure how his last name was originally spelled.
