Roy: Do you have any information on the Arthur Park family who came to Pennsylvania from Ireland around 1720? I am most interested in the line of his son Joseph who moved to North Carolina and on to Miss/Al. Thank you, Kaye Park Hinckley
My g grandfather Silas Samuel Parks was born in 1849 in Michigan. On his death cert it lists his father as John B. Parks, birthplace New York. His mother was Lorraine Nattles or Wattles. I have no other information on them. Silas married Susan Lucinda Slaten and they had 6 children, Newton, Charlie, John, Ola, Daisy and Etta. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Thank you. J. Parks, Sorry, that I left the dates off. John born abt. 1720 or so, Benjamin born 1746 in King George Co., Va. They moved to NC and Benjamin moved on to Georgia. He died there in 1839. Chris
Does anyone on the list have a Daniel and William Parks [or Park/e/s] who might have been in Vermont -- even briefly - around 1794-1795? The area would be Rutland. They were probably related. Probably did not remain in Vermont. Cheryl
I am looking for parents to Peter Glick PARKS and Silas Leonard PARKS who were born in Vermont. Both Peter and Silas moved to New York -- Peter married Charlotte LAMB in Broome Co., New York about 1825 and had six children there before moving on to Michigan. Peter and Charlotte had a son in Michigan before moving to Illinois. Five more children were born in Illinois. Unfortunately, the names you listed are not familiar to me. Peter and Charlotte's children were Janette, Jerome, Jane, Lucinda, Minerva, Aurilla, James, Oscar, Morris, Nathan, Peter and Lozette. Does anybody connect? Sandra Tennyson
Wondering if anyone on the list is researching the Parks of New York. Some of the lines I am researching: My g Grandfather John Howard Parks b 7/3/1852 NY, d 6/18/1926. John Parks b 9/18/1806 Eng, d 5/7/1864 Jamestown, NY spouse Hester children Louisa M., John Wesley, James William, Hester Lois. Fred
Roy, Do you have a Thomas Parks married to Elizabeth Ash. I believe they were from N. Car. & KY. Their youngest child, Christopher, was born 9/8/1827. I'm trying to locate where they came from. Believe they came to Orange County, IN, in 1816. Roy - In your database do you have Benjamin B Parks who married Marinda Hinton? they lived in Chickasaw Co, Iowa and had the following children: Harlen, Marie, Ruth, Harding, Crampton, Jennie, Julia, May, Clara, Ben, Edward B. and Jefferson. I have next to no information on the children. Benjamin's parents were Samuel Parks and Hannah Jurden. Thank you for any help you can give me. In response to Roy's list of John Parks. Doyou have anything on John Parks born circa 1780 in Arlington, VT??? He is father to Silas Leonard Parks b. 1801 in Arlington, VT, as well as Peter Glick Parks circa 1807..also Vermont. Silas Married Betsie Brown of Chatham Canada. Silas is grandfather to my grandmother, Elizabeth Parks born 1875 in Shiawasee, or Owosso, MI. So far, no one has been able to trace John or find a wife for him. There are many of us descendants working on this. Thanks for any help you may offer . Silas had 13 plus children and came to MI from the Hartford Colony in NY. Karen

PA any help would be appriciated in helping with their parents or passenger list plus cemetery Donna

Hi Roy, I would appreciate it very much if you would check your database for a Mary Ann Parks, born abt 1817 in CT. In 1840 she married a James C. Fenton in Adams Co., IL. In the 1840 census they are in Macon Co., IL. I have no info on her, or leads, before she married Fenton. I have gotten the birth date and place from censuses. Hope you can help. Helen
I have a large data base full of PARK names of all spellings. when I ask it for JOHN it gives me 1160 names, so always give more information. Wifes name and all nee names (maiden) when and where born. some thing to make them different from all the rest. helping people find their folks is where I get my kicks. so make me happy.
