    2. Mary Stuart Parks
    3. Rufus Parks and his wife Palmyra (?) were in Rennselaer County New York in 1850 when their son Charles was born. Charles married Ardelia Church. I have been trying for years to find Rufus. We have exhausted cemeteries and other records. Stephen Parks may have been a relative since Stephen and Charles had a "findings" business together in Troy, NY at the end of the century, according tothe Troy city directory. Any help appreciated. 1. Isaac PARK, husband of HANNAH GRAY of BRADFORD COUNTY, PA
    2. Someone else must be looking for these wonderful people. Stephen PARK who was born in England and I'm told died on Long Island married Annie WILLIAMS. They had Stephen, Eunis, Darius, Stephen and Isaac. Isaac was born October 25, 1784 in Groton, New London, CT (which makes me wonder about the Long Island Story) as was his wife, Hannah GRAY. They moved to Bradford County and raised their family. Isaac was his renowned son. After IsaacSr.,, Isaac disinherited his brother and cast him out of the homestead. Jackson went to his grandfather who got him a job with Asa Packer. He married Elizabeth GUEISS and moved to White Haven, Luzerne County, PA. It was there that he raised his children, Byron and Sterling. I would love to break a hole in this brick wall. Judy

    1. PARK\E\S from ENGLAND, IRELAND
    2. PATRICK PARKES
    3. My Park\e\s ancestral search has taken me back to Robert Parke who owned or leased land in Cloonree, Castlereagh, Co. Roscommon in 1734. Memorial land deeds indicate he was born in early 1690, place unnamed. I have been unable to find anything indicating who might be the parents of this ancestor or where they came from. It seems likely he is connected to the Parkes of Dunally, Co. Sligo and Castlecarr, Co. Leitrim -- Parke family lines that originated with the first Robert Parke and Roger Parke of England who bought or received large grants of land in Ireland in the early 1600s. I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who may have a connection or who can offer any help or advice in breaching this wall. Patrick Parkes [email protected]

    1. Roll Call
    2. Hi all, I am on some other lists. The Keller list is currently doing a roll call of their brick walls, but the list owner has a web site he is putting them on. The Keller Brick Wall page is: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~geishome/ggg/listpage/kell.htm/kellwalldex .htm#VIRGINIA [Actually there is more to his site than the brick walls.] Wondered if someone would like to volunteer to create a web site for Parks Brick Walls? Believe it would be very helpful. Gayla

    3. I am trying to find the parents of Charlotte Parks born 3-22-1805 in SC and died in 1881. She married Thomas Crosby born 11-15-1802 in Chester/Fairfield Co of SC. I also have a Robert Parks in my database born 1784 who married Thomas' aunt, Mary Polly Crosby. The Crosbys lived close to Union Co. and I know that there were some Parks there. Also there was a James Parks and Hugh Parks in Fairfield Co. in the 1800 census. There was a James, John, and Alexander Parks in 1810 census. If anyone has a connection with Charlotte Parks or if any of these other Parks names sound familiar, please let me know. I would love some information on her family. 3. Hear is what I have, would like to know more. James Parks of Scotch ancestry, date and place of birth unknown, died around 1797. James married Bersheba Southworth, born in the New Jersey area circa 1740 and died in 1823. James Park's daughter, Lois Parks Aug. 3, 1785 -- Sept 3, 1849 near the Clarksburg area of Western Virginia, was married to Dr. Thomas C. Nutter of Nutters Fort Fame on June 30, 1808. James and Bersheba were my GGGG Grandparents. I believe this is the right information. Marlene
