Jerome Parks, Almeron and Levi were brothers from Cass Co., MI -- sons of Alanson and Emeline Hendricks Parks. Jerome eventually moved to Montana and his children grew up there. Almeron remained in ND; Levi never married - he died in the 1920's and is buried in Montana. I do not know the relationship of the Alanson J. Parks, if any, to the Parks' above, The father of Jerome, Almeron and Levi [named Alanson] did move to ND and is enumerated in the 1885 Territorial Census, he died in 1896. Paulette I thought that I had already e-mailed you and explained that all of Dad's info came from family members who he stayed with on his trip to Iowa in the mid 1950's. I don't show any Harrison Co, Iowa connections for this family. Leonard, Did you happen to find your fathers documentation on Moses Boston's family ? I need to find out if there is any kind of a Harrison Co, IA connection for this family... Paulette Williams I hear ethereal whispers persuasive, soft and still, "Daughter,if you don't remember us,who will?"
Joyce, I have found other material on the John-Robert Park family on my computer....If you will send me your email address I will foreword them to you. Judy [email protected]
I have a memorial address booklet on the Life and Character of Willard Hall. It is tattered and the back cover is missing. Mr. Hall was born 24th of December 1780 in Westford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He became a lawyer, settled in the state of Delaware, served in the Congress of the United States from the state of Delaware and became a judge. He died sometime about 1876. I will give this booklet to any of Judge Willard Hall's descendants that can make proper identification. Don Park
Joyce (Paul Ebert) My dad's great grandfather Joseph Park was born about 1909 in Beaver County Penn. His parents were David Park and Margaret Patterson. David's father and brother's name name were Robert. Robert (Sr.) married Jane Machan and they lived in Homer Township in Ohio. They had 10 children......4 of their names are David, Robert, Joseph and Matilda . On CD# 450 (Family Tree Maker's Family Archives)...check Page 843 in Bio. of Robert Lowe a reference to Mary Parks who was the daughter of David Parks. Also on page 875/876 it talks about Robert Park and a little of his life and family. I think that these are all related to your Parks as it goes from Park to Parks and the time frame and the Ohio match. Judy .
Thanks Jackie, I will check it out....Joyce ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gerald Jackiewicz" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, March 11, 2000 11:04 PM Subject: Re: [PARKS] Parks Family-Wayne Twnsp, Jeff. I am still hunting for the John Parks 1831-1893 Family from a farm between Cadiz and Steubenville, Ohio. John married Elizabeth Margaret Scott 1834-1904. They are buried in Unionport Cemetery. Children William S. 1866, Robert G., Elizabeth J.1871, Charles S., 1873. Elizabeth marr. John Carman, Robert marr. Sarah O'Toole, Charles marr. Ella Dubble. I think John's fathers name was Robert, born 1800, but need proof. Most of the family stayed in Ohio. Does anyone know of this family....Joyce
