Many, including myself have long thought that the Martha Parker who married William Beauchamp, son of William & Nancy Parker Beauchamp, was the daughter of Isaiah Parker that was living amoung the maze of Parkers of central Georgia. As you can see from the act of the legislature I have pasted in below, it appears she was not the natural daughter of Isaiah Parker. Would anyone know of either Martha's ancestry or that of Isaiah. I have found a lineage of Isaiah that goes back to the Thomas Parker of Nasemond Co VA and further back to Yorkshire England ca 1500. Thanks. And be it further enacted, That Martha Beauchamp, wife of William Beauchamp of DeKalb county, be, and she is hereby constituted the legal heir and representative of Isaiah Parker of said county, in as full and ample a manner as if she had been the legitimate child of the said Isaiah, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
