    3. Hi there, I am very interested in them, especially the one on Wm. Parker of Cumberland County. If you have read over them in their entirety, you might be able to tell me if any of them mention a son named 'Bailey/Baley/Baily'? It might even look like Betty. Betty was not a common name at that time, so if any of them had a child named Betty/Bety, if it does not specifically say it was a daughter, then it could be my Bailey. My Bailey was in Cumberland County for some reason in the mid 1750s. Not sure why, but I found one reference to him there. Could be that his father was from there???? Do you have a scanner, that you could send me via e-mail a copy? Whatever is easiest for you. Sure would appreciate it. Thanks, Kathy Wells. ----- Original Message ----- From: <beceel@earthlink.net> To: <PARKER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2003 4:08 PM Subject: [PARKER-L] Parker wills > { SEQ CHAPTER \h \r 1}If anyone is interested in these PARKERS, I have the wills > as transcribed and submitted by Kathryn Barclay in the > "Norfolk Navigator". > > William PARKER of the parish of Southam in the county of > Cumberland, VA, 1755. > > Obadiah PARKER of the parish of Antrim in the county of > Halifax, VA, 1777. > > Richard PARKER of Halifax County VA, 1781. > >
