I will look into my records further, but the Herods have a cemetery in Grapeland, as do the Parker's. We have been told that only Herod's are in the Herod cemetery, but my gg grandpa's first wife Martha Strother is in there, and leads me to believe she may of been a herod...now on the Parkers...his second wife is in the Parker Cemetery. I know the names you mention are on land documents and censuses together, so let me know what you found....
