I am researching the Oren Parker family from MA>VT>IL. The Sherwood file has his father as Aaron Cavendish Parker, which is probably incorrect. He may have been from Cavendish, VT. Oren had brothers: Abel, Silas, and others who were also in Lake Co., IL. An Aaron Parker moved to Antioch/Avon, Lake Co., IL. and bought land there in 1837. This Aaron could also be another brother of Oren. Just don't know. He may also be the same Aaron Parker who was in the same unit as Oren Parker in the War of 1812 from VT. My query: Does anyone have a connection to the Aaron Parker who moved to Lake Co., IL.? If so, would appreciate exchanging info with you. ancestorhunt@sbcglobal.net
