There are several in the Hampshire Co VA area, and some of those later Parkers may have gone to Sumner Co TN. My husband is the 5th great grandson of John Parker b. abt 1680 or later d. 1765 in Hampshire Co VA. all from/in Hampshire Co VA John Parker wife Elizabeth no maiden name ever found Robert Parker wife Hannah Peters Solomon Parker, wife Sarah Wright William P. Parker wife 1) Elizabeth HIggins in VA 2) Hester M. shepherd - MO and 3) Susan R, Shepherd -sister of Hester also MO. all have children in MO James Higgins Parker son of Wm. P and Elizabeth Higgins Parker--and an only child. William Walter Parker wife Annie Youngs MO Marion Francis Parker wife Ada L. Campbell --Jim's parents MO Wm P. Parker took his family to Lafayette Co MO in 1842 and his 1st wife Elizabeth and her father (James HIggins) died in 1843 prob. of TB.
