One possible spouse for Pharus is Laura E. Niles. She is listed in the index -- married 25 May 1870 in Juneau County (Volume 1, page 156). The name Laura does not match up with Elizabeth (1880 census) or Liby/Libby (1870 census). Maybe her nickname was Libby ,and her middle name was Elizabeth. Or maybe Pharus married another person.
