Seek ancestry, siblings, and family history of Dr. Erastus & Mariah PARKER. My earliest knowledge of them is the 1850 census at Covington, Wyoming Co., NY, where they were recorded with three daughters: Erastus S. Parker, 48, NY, stove/store/stone(?) peddler. Mariah H. Parker, 47, MA. Mary E. S. Parker, 19, CT. Hannah M. Parker, 17, NY. Harriet R. H. Parker, 12, NY. There may have been other children. A great-grandson of Erastus Parker left hand-written genealogical notes circa 1960s indicating five Parker daughters (i.e., Mary, Hannah, Harriet and two unnamed). Soon after 1850 the Parkers removed some 25 miles east to Lima, Livingston Co., NY, where at least two of the daughters resided when they married in the mid- and late-1850s. Erastus was recorded in the 1860 and 1870 census without a wife: 1860 at Poygan, Winnebago Co., WI: Erastus (60, NY, physician) was recorded with the family of Hiram & Sarah LEE (relationship, if any, unknown). They were next to the family of his daughter Mrs. Mary (Parker) Dean. 1870 at Genesee Twp., Genesee Co., MI: Erastus (68, NY, physician) was recorded with the family of Chaney/Chauncey & Susan BRADDOCK (relationship, if any, unknown).
