His father was Benjamin Franklin Parker (B: 1866 Eagle Lake Co., Tx.)wife Sylvanda Jones, Ben's. father was James Parker (S.C.?) (some say other states) said they were kin to Cynthia Ann Parker. I can't find the link. James Parker's Wife is listed as Mary Annie Ratliff (some say Florence Ratliff) on the lists of James and Mary's children,William H. (B: 1855 Miss).Wife Amanda Finch: Thadeus (B: about 1860 Miss): Joseph (B: 1862 Tx.) : and Benjamin. Evidently both parents and possibly Thadeus died around 1873 around the Brazos area possably Eagle Lake area. The story was that they had 1000 acres of land on the Brazos and for some reason William, Joseph, and Benjamin rode one horse out of there and never went back.
