I am seeking the parents and siblings of Wilson Parker and his wife Rhoda Thorpe. Wilson was born 24 Feb 1776 in Monmouth County, NJ and died 12 Mar 1839 in Lapeer, Cortland Co., NY. Rhoda Thorpe is the daughter of Isaac Thorpe. She was born 28 Feb 1784 somewhere in New Jersey and died 21 Jan 1864 in Virgil, Cortland Co., NY Wilson and Rhoda are both buried in Quail Hill Rd. Cemetery in Lapeer, Cortland Co., NY. The cemetery is on property that was once the Parker family farm. Census information shows that he lived in Downe Township in Cumberland County in 1803. In 1810 they moved from New Jersey to Cayuga County, New York. In 1819 they moved to Cortland County, NY. 1820 census shows them living in Virgil, Cortland County, NY. Rhoda's father, Isaac Thorpe, was born in New Jersey in 1764. He died 22 Jan 1839 in Cortland County, NY Wilson and Rhoda were the parents of 10 children, 4 of which were born in Monmouth County, NJ.
